Catching up with the Cousins - Monday

Two of my cousins (sons of Dad's youngest brother) live near London and we had agreed to meet around 1pm for lunch to catch up.

The British Museum was near where we were meeting, so we caught the train in and walked up to the Museum. We joined the thousands of others in wandering through the amazing spoils of the British Empire and its explorers. We were there 3 hours and went fairly quickly though about 25% of it. It would take days to do it justice.

We then met up with Michael and Lars and spent nearly 6 hours catching up, I hadn't seen them in at least 37 years, so we had a lot to catch up on. It was a great afternoon and we had a lot of laughs and a fair bit of reminiscing, along with a wine or two.

It was nearly 8pm when we got back to the flat, so a toasted cheese sandwich snack was dinner.
