Oxford - Sunday
After another full breakfast (I could get used to having someone cook me breakfast every morning - hint, hint) we headed off for Oxford.
I'd done some research and there are park & rides around the edge of Oxford were you can park for the day and get a bus direct to the city centre for 5 quid. This is cheaper than city centre parking (if you can find any).
So after a leisurely bus trip into the city, we strolled around Oxford for 3 hours or so and had a snack lunch at the indoor market.
Oxford is a mix of ancient and privilege with some beautiful old buildings and manicured grounds.
We even got Leanne a bit nostalgic for home:
We got there fairly early, but by early afternoon you couldn't move for tourista, as well as lots of students wandering around.
We got out and headed for a couple of other Cotswalds towns. Minster Lovel was a cute village of just a few houses, so we drove through but didn't stop, and headed on to Burford, and old market town. Another pretty town with a beautiful old church.
We decided on a break ffora G&T and a beer at a the Mermaid Inn out on the path in the main street. While I was in buying the drinks Leanne picked up three young lads from the Midlands - I can't leave her alone at all!
After our drinkies we headed back to the ranch and had a quiet couple of hours relaxing, before heading into Bourton for an Italian dinner. It was so much more peaceful without the hoards of tourists!

Some gorgeous photos here Mark.
