Castles Galore

A quick post today as it was mostly picking up and 9driving our Peugeot 2008 hire car - a bit fancier and bigger than I was expecting, but very nice so far. This must be the "or similar" to the Rolls Royce I asked for! 

The weather improved a bit, with a mainly dry day and a quick glimpse of distant blue sky for a few minutes. Hoping for at least mainly dry tomorrow.

On our way to the SW coast we dropped in on the Rock of Cashel to give Leanne a castle fix. Very impressive.

It was a bit windy though.

An hour down the road we visited Blarney Castle. Again most impressive, but neither of us could be bothered with hanging upside down to kiss a germy rock 😃😃.

The hotel we are staying at had a nice bar, so a couple of drinks and a light meal accompanied watching some of the Ireland Tonga match at the Rugby World Cup.
